I have for a while had the itch to get into furniture restoring. I finally acted on it when John and I decided that we would like to have a big dining room table and buffet/hutch so that we can eventually do some entertaining. I looked for a few weeks, and came across these two pieces. I am super excited for both of them! The buffet it absolutely gorgeous (does need some TLC of course), and has so much pretty detail to it. The table and chairs has a really cool story to go along with it. We purchased the set from a 93 year old man that goes by the name of Doc. He lives on a farm in Lynnwoood. Yes, that's right. I said a farm in Lynnwoood. I didn't believe it either until we pulled up to his house. He even at one point had live stock on it! He has now sold the property to the city of Lynnwood who is turning it into a park name after Doc himself.
